Quads
We cater for everyone from 6 years upwards here at Keypitts, we currently have Suzuki 50cc, Suzuki LTA 50cc as well as 50cc and 80cc Yamaha quads for the young juniors rising to the Honda TRX 90cc semi automatic quads for the larger juniors and teenagers and of course the 125cc Yamaha Breeze for all the adults. We also have the latest model 200cc Polaris Phoenix and for the more experienced, a 250cc Honda sport, no clutch, 5 gears
All our quad bikes go through a 49 point check list each day before they are taken up on to the practice track to insure that our bikes are in first class condition and field worthy for all our clients and staff to ride, this is all carried out daily by our trained staff which is then overseen by our 2 full time ATV mechanics.
In our nine years of operating as Keypitts Stables n Quads we have kept safety as our paramount goal and in doing so we found that the rear brakes on the breeze bikes tend to become less efficient after lots of mud and water, so we set about designing and manufacturing a conversion kit from drum brakes to disc braking, this proves to be far more effective braking in wet and muddy conditions with far better control and safer for our customers.
While it seems that we concentrate on our bikes and equipment one thing we never overlook is our staff training and this is constantly undergoing revision before we let lose our instructors they have to under go a in house written exam and also have to prove that they are in control of the rides and customers whilst out on the farm before they can join the team, 80% of the team also ride trials bikes, enduro bikes and of course scramblers so we know that we have a good crew working with us.
We supply all the safety equipment free of charge crash helmets Wellington boots and should you want coveralls these can be purchased when you arrive, you are then all given a full safety brief and are shown how to ride the quad bike, You are then assessed on control of the bike before we take you across the farm which includes emergency stops and throttle control on our practice track, should you or we feel that you are in need of extra tuition then we would take out a one on one tuition should this be required.
